Star Wars Series 1 (The 1st in five series of Topps Trading Cards) were released in 1977 and became hugely popular. Each card depicts a scene or a character from the film. The reverse of the cards displays 'Official Descriptions' of some of the films characters and locations or a part of a jigsaw. The series 1 cards have a blue border (series 2 red, series 3 yellow, series 4 green and series 5 orange) There are 66 cards in the set and 11 stickers. Each pack came with a stick of bubblegum - Yum Yum !
